Manage your setup and user access in Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Server Component - How to?

How to use the server component?

The first thing you need to do is to define the user or users that are allowed to manage the profiles for iDcrm. These users can use their own copy of iDcrm to create the configuration they want and than share this configuration with the other users.

The user will go through the whole setup of iDcrm and will add any entities, and for each entity he will create the lists to display them. He will define the home screen and decide what options should be on the home screen for the other users.

Once he is done with his setup of iDcrm he can go to the setup area and share his setup. This creates an iDcrm profile record in Dynamics CRM.

The server component has 2 entities that are standard Microsoft CRM entities and can be added to iDcrm and will work on your device. So you do not even need to be working with your Dynamics client, but you can do the whole setup admin from your device.

Once the profiles are created you can assign these to users.
