New iDcrm release available for Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Our development team continues to provide new features to iDcrm. With all the feedback from our customers and the possibilities of MS CRM 2011 there are a lot of opportunties for improvement. In this article we want to give a brief overview of the new features.

The new iDcrm and iDcrm HD software is available !!!

New features :

-> automatic first sync when updating with a new version

-> New Form features: 

- the fields are from now in the logical order (corresponding to MSCRM)
- You can now move fields where you want in the tab of the form by simply sliding it. To do this, slide first from left to right on a field to reveal the editing mode, then move the fields you want, then slide again from left to right to close editing mode. The form is now saved like this. You can move anything except 'status' and 'notes' fields

Status value displayed on the bottom of the form (even 'New' when you create a new record)

-> 'Close' button disable during record saving to avoid to click again

-> 'Estimated revenue' displayed even if the field is read-only when you select 'system calculated'

-> Display of the friendly name of the organizations in the first sync organizations listing

-> Now,' letter', 'fax' and 'campaign response' are available

-> Email form (from SDK) automatically closed after email sending on iPad

-> Only for iDcrm on iPhone : when you touch the phone icon at the right of a form field, you now have 3 choices :

            - Create activity and call

            - call only

            - send SMS : when the SMS is sent, the SMS text + phone number is saved like a new note in the record

-> For email, a automatic process copy the 'modifiedon' field value in the 'scheduledend' field value if 'scheduledend' is null : this is to correctly order the email in the calendar even if the user doesn't fill the 'scheduledend' date

-> New process for email to use it more efficiently : 

            When you create an email you can now 'SAVE' or 'SEND' it :

            - if you just save, the email is in a 'Draft' status, so it is editable to open again and change it to then save again or send

            - if you send it, the email status become 'SENT', so the email becomes read-only

-> Now in the first sync, you can use the MSCRM system views and user views to filter your sync and you can also choose to use only our existing filter : so you choose to use views filtering or built-in filtering

-> New process to manage use of CRM2011 discovery services : solved the CRM 2011 sync issue

-> New process to manage ON-PREMISE sync with iOS4.3 : solved the on-premise sync issue in iOS4.3
